The Roll – Over Protection System (ROPS) is a specific type of safety feature. These are supplementary features to Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) with a gross mass under 4 tonnes. Its purpose is to protect occupants in a roll-over accident. It is significant because roll-overs are a very large cause of injuries and deaths.
The NCMT ROPS is manufactured in the Emirates. Therefore, the quality and safety standards are high and conform to international standards. It is designed to provide maximum protection whilst still conforming to regulations and policies on safety, as specified in Corporate Practice No: HSE-HRT-CP01.
The ROPS is made up of high-strength materials, which consequently form a protective barrier around the vehicle's cabin, Also, it reinforces the vehicle's structure. Therefore, the occupants of the vehicle and the roof and occupant space will all stay intact in a rollover.
Our ROPS are designed with precision. Consequently, the ROPS provide optimal protection. At the same time, the structures also maintain the vehicle’s performance, handling, and weight distribution.
Our ROPS are built to meet or exceed international safety standards, ensuring the highest level of protection for the driver and passengers during a rollover.
Engineered for both on-road and off-road use, our Rollover Protection Structures (ROPS) are built to resist corrosion and are tough enough to handle extreme environmental conditions. Crafted from high-strength materials and featuring reinforced frameworks, these structures promise outstanding durability over time. Whether they face mud, moisture, salt, or heavy impacts, our ROPS hold their ground, providing dependable protection and performance year after year. This means operators can count on their long-lasting reliability, even in the toughest work environments.
Designed to fit a variety of LCV models, our ROPS systems are very easy to install and very customizable so they can fit different makes and types of vehicles. This versatility provides the safety enhancement while maintaining some of the vehicle's performance and functions. As a result, the operator is protected with the ability to utilize some of the vehicles functionalities, no matter the application.
